- stayed on lohifushi island, got deal with worldsurfaris.com -
package about A$800 for food, water, accom, boat trips
- surfed lohis (fast), chickens (fast), ninjas (slow but
fun on long boards), honkys (good longboard wave when smaller)
- lots of surfers but old fellas like us still caught a few
waves
- conditions ranged from sunny offshore to windy stormy onshore,
sometimes rain, 3-12 ft faces and one evening bigger than
double overhead, most days 4-8 ft faces.

- 1-2 ft swell (forecast said up to 2 m) but too much south

- faces 2-3 ft, sometimes 4 ft.
- wind SW 20 knots (offshore) and later S 20+ knots (sideshore)

- best time from 0530-0700 with 4-6 ft faces and offshore,
dropped to 2-4 ft by 1000, onshore started shortly after
that.

about 0800 Wednesday morning
- average surf on Wednesday - onshore started about 1030
- camped on beach Wednesday night
- clean and no wind Thursday morning, surfed 0600 till about
1200 then return to Dubai

- conditions were about 2 ft swell (3-4 ft faces) with strong
winds
- swell forecast was showing 4-6 ft during time we were there
- stayed in Ibra Wednesday night, camped on beach Thursday
night
- strong offshore in the mornings, strong onshore in the
afternoons less windy in the evenings but unpleasant during
the day unless in water or a/c
- drove up to Ras al Hadd on Thursday afternoon
